Skin cancer usually appears on areas that are exposed to sunligh quite a bit. If a person has a darker skin tone they can still get burnt and skin cancer. --Basal cell carcinoma * Usually occurs in sun exposed areas. It may look like a pearly or waxy bump. ReplyDeleteBasal cell carcinoma makes up 75% of the cancer. It effects the epidurmis. Spreads only if untreated. Usually doenst spread.

There are two types of skin cancer Basal cell and Squamous cell. Former is more prevalent but both are the most preventable cancer among all others.
